This corvette has a fresh big block motor in it.  Engine was rebuilt less than 50 miles ago.  Engine was bored oversize and installed forged pistons.  This car has a manual transmission and side pipes.  Sound/drives/runs great.

This car was originally a small block car and had the big block added to it early in life.  As you can see by the stickers, this car was a big track winner back in the day.  Great vintage race car or drag car.  This car was prominently run at Thompson drag raceway in northeast Ohio and was champion numerous times.  This car was also shown at many car shows in the Cleveland area as well in its early days.  This car only has 27k miles it, they were mostly put on ¼ mile at a time.

Previous owner bought this car in 1998 from the original family owner.   He was friends with the owner and has known the car since new.  He always wanted to own it and finally had an opportunity in 1998. Planned to keep this car forever, so put a lot of money into the car repairing the mechanicals of it.  Unfortunately he had to sell due to finances.

Car was delivered from Baushild Cheverolet in Cleveland on July 1, 1965.  Still have the original owners guide and the Protecto plate.  Data plates are still located in the car, under glove box.  Was a Cleveland car until current owner bought it.

Previous owner has done a lot of work to car to bring the mechanicals up to date to make this a great driving car.  During the engine rebuild process the following extras were done.

New Holley double pump 750 cfm carburetor

Rebuilt heavy duty big block starter

Heavy duty west coast core radiator

New fan blade and fan clutch

New fuel pump

New wiring harness in engine compartment

The suspension was gone through on the car also during the engine rebuild

Front end was rebuilt – the ball joints were bad

New front shocks

New rear shocks

Rear leaf pins

4 wheel alignment.

Brakes were gone through in 2004 @ 26733 miles

4 rebuilt calipers with stainless sleeves were done

The parking brake does not work, and was not repaired at that time

The paint is rough, it was painted in blue with a lot of metal flake it in.   The paint is cracking and crazing all over the car.  The Convertible top is shrunk and does not latch in place.  No major tears in it, but it is faded and the rear window is fogged over.  Car does have a hardtop with it.  The interior appears original.  Car has power windows and they do work.  No power steering, no A/C as original.
